Thing is I don’t get out much to meet any decent men, and if I do meet one or notice one I’m so used to bums, I get intimidated and feel like they won’t want me. I have this fantasy in my head I’m gonna meet prince charming and he is gonna scoop me off my feet. All I meet are dudes, that lie and or embellish their truth. Going through some sort of hardship. Don’t have a car, don’t have a job or a good job. Don’t have their own place can you have a roommate at least damn It is so hard to find a man that wants to court me, have date nights, spoil me and buy me things for special occasions and maybe just because?

But the truth is, online dating sucks. We all know just how hard it is to find love. Most of our adolescence and some of our adulthood is spent in search of that special someone. Many of us have given all our faith to online dating only to be met with disappointment time and time again. And after we fail to find that special person, yet again, we end up realizing just how much online dating sucks. You may be a very negative person. Sometimes you have to let love just come to you.
We have no idea what it was like for our parents to date and even for our grandparents to find love. If you ask them, it might be a lot easier to ditch the apps. Here are all the reasons you should try to find your true love without the help of technology. Which means ditching the dating apps provides a way to meet people you are truly interested in.
Online dating hard work
I mean it really, really does, right? Someone has to say it and it might as well be me. After all of the stories I have heard, the drama that has ensued and the amount of clients and friends I have had to talk off the ledge because of it, I think it is time we talked. It is time we talked about how online dating is a severely flawed process.
If you’re an average guy, you already know that dating sucks. It sucks because there’s not much advice out there for regular blokes like us.
It has a spectacular tutorial that guides you through the registration process. Seems great so far, right? Once registered, you are told to answer match questions so that OkCupid can match you with sexy singles. Most of the questions deal with drugs. Okay, so we established that OkCupid cares about drug-use. Moving on… Then, after the long match survey process, you are told to fill out a profile not necessarily in that order. Okay, now you have your profile.
Every, single, one lies. When I used OkCupid, I would ask these women what they liked about their job the icebreaker! They responded by saying they like their job. We chit chat for a few days then we meet in person.
Real Advice To Make Online Dating Less Awkward
I put a few thoughts in bold, which are most pertinent to how you act today, a couple short years later. From chump to champ, it seems!!! I signed up about 3 months ago and had a good feeling about going on there to meet some girls. I took my time to write a good profile as well as my pics. I looked at a lot of girls and read what they had to say.
If you are looking for a great girl in Jakarta, online dating is by far your best chance. 90% of the girls there are looking for a stable relationship.
Tweet Scrolling through profile after profile on dating sites had a weird effect on me. Instead of seeing a person on the screen, I began to see a list of conditions, and a percentage. So I’m leaving it behind. My foot’s been in the online dating pool for the better part of six years. I’ve waited for the water to warm up so I could fully dive in, but it hasn’t.
I suck at online dating. Please help!
I’m female, in my 30s, I have a good career in operations and engineering, I’m an excellent significant other, and I have no children yet Quite the contrary, I’m self-conscious just like most people and My face blends in a sea of a million ads. Yet, here I am single with absolutely no legitimate prospects. So I decided about a year ago to try online dating.
Nice, geeky men who are my cup of tea never ever hit on me IRL
Happy Valentine’s day! Haha. Figured I’d make a post like this today. So yeah I ve used POF and ok cupid for a while now. Other than a few tepid responses and some girls with huge red flag, I haven’t gotten anywhere.
Online dating sucks for Asian guys Posted: I’m sure I could probably do better as a white guy, but who cares. It’s how you present yourself. I think I have a pretty good profile, I have a bunch of pictures of myself smiling and having a good time, and pics of me with other girls. Then you need to have a decent profile to keep them interested. I get some girls opening me sometimes, I’ve been added to their favourites list. When this happens to you, it lets you be picky on who you reply to.
I also spam the shit out of the girls online. I have a couple of cut of paste messages I use. I don’t have time to write each girl a personal message that’s probably gonna get deleted right? I’ll go through a bunch of profiles, and ignore anything that says “just ask” or if they’re really generic, cause they’re probably boring. At this point, I’ll use one of my pre-written messages, I’ll customize to them since I actually read their profile, and I’ll use something in their profile to use as a subject title.
Never ever say Hi, or hey, or give compliments in the title or anywhere in the message. Not every girl will respond.

I have been doing online dating on OK Cupid for about a year and a few months, and just disabled my account temporarily. Before that, I unfortunately stayed in isolation for about 10 years, not by choice. I met about 6 girls in a little over a year. I prefer heavier women, but most I noticed after meeting were completely out of shape and if they weren’t they were unattractive in other ways like their face or strange figure.
I am not claiming to be that attractive myself, I am tall thin and nerdy with bad posture and glasses. I also give off bad vibes a lot but those 3 I noticed it myself and it was pretty creepy.
This is somewhat embarrassing, isn’t it?

Who on earth actually enjoys a first date? They are the worst. You have to make conversation with a person who you may have nothing in common with and if you realize that there is nothing to talk about within five minutes, you still have to stay for at least an hour to be polite. Not to mention, no one knows how to eat on a first date.
Usually the girls order a salad. And I mean come on. Did we want the salad? We probably wanted the pesto chicken Panini, but knew damn well it would just mess up our makeup and probably ruin the chances of a second date we might not even want. Speaking of food, food costs money. And is it wrong to just assume? How do you even meet people nowadays? No one expects to find someone out and about anymore.
Everyone relies on the Internet.
